The Goose Lake grounds opened in March 2004 under CRTA use agreements with the California Conservation Fund (CCF), Colly Houchin Trading Company, and Tracy Ranch. Tumblin Lake, a 40-acre complex of natural ponds and wetland areas, was later added to the Goose Lake facility.
The Denverton grounds in Solano County total approximately 900 acres, consisting of the former Denverton Duck Club later augmented by an additional leased parcel of upland areas. The Denverton property includes four technical ponds and several tidally filled natural water areas with surrounding wetlands, marshes and uplands. Formerly the Grizzly Island Duck Club, Grizzly Ranch consists of Suisun marsh wetlands and uplands. Grizzly Ranch training areas include three technical ponds, a swim-by pond, meandering canals, and upland and wetland training areas. |
